The uLEAD Network is a National Forum initiative which was launched in March 2013. It’s development was made possible through the generous support of the Ford Foundation and a current partnership with the National Center for Institutional Diversity.  The Network represents a multi-level approach to the issue of educational access and opportunity for undocumented students in which increased social capital is utilized as a means for promoting collective action and marshaling support for institutional leaders who seek to create inclusive environments.

The project will provide a flexible online platform for leaders in higher education to network with others in addressing complex issues of access and diversity in modern higher education.  Materials such as webinars, fact sheets, state tool kits, case studies and multimedia are made available on the site to higher education professionals who seek additional support ranging from information about working with undocumented students to enabling institutional change.

The uLEAD Network grows out of our tradition of work on access to higher education and our commitment to providing tools that enhance leaders’ ability to create positive change in their institutions.
